In the last month since the e-book publication of The Falcon and The Snowman: American Sons, we’ve received numerous requests from people asking the question: When will a physical print copy of the book be available? The second most-asked question has been: How can I get my copy autographed?
Since you can’t exactly autograph an e-book, we’ve been considering our options with regard to putting a physical book into print. Ultimately, it boils down to two choices: self publication or signing with a traditional publishing company. Naturally, we are most interested in the pursuing the latter alternative – but that could take some time to materialize. In the meantime, I managed to come up with an idea that’ll likely satisfy the majority of readers.
Every person who purchases the e-book through Amazon will receive a free, autographed postcard replica of the book cover. The postcard will measure 5.5 x 8.5 inches and will be mailed to you after it’s been autographed by Chris, Cait and myself.
To get your autographed postcard, simply forward the confirmation email you received from Amazon when you bought the e-book to email@example.com with your name and mailing address. We’ll take care of the rest, including shipping and handling.
If you no longer have the email confirmation, you still have a couple of options:
- Send a message to Amazon.com and request they email you another copy. Once you’ve received it, follow the instructions above.
- Alternately, you can log in to your Amazon.com account and click “Your Orders.” Once there, click ”Digital Orders” and either take a screenshot or a snapshot with your phone and email that as an attachment to the above mentioned email address.
- Email a screenshot (or phone photo) of a review you left for the e-book on Amazon. This option will only work if your name and the Amazon user ID used to leave the review match.
Please bear in mind this offer will only be available to people who bought the e-book and will be limited to one postcard per e-book purchased. It will also only be available for a limited time, making the postcards extremely collectible.
At this point, I’d also like to ask everyone who hasn’t done so yet to please write a quick blurb about the book, letting others know what you felt about it. Doing this helps to greatly increase the e-book’s visibility at Amazon, as well as on search engines like Google and Bing, and ensures that more people learn about it.
